The Reminders
This page is mainly for reminders. Alot of CY threads I make are all encompassed and combined together on this page. I’ll keep adding to it insha’Allah

What will you study/What are you studying?
Pick a major and stick with it.
Consider taking courses at HCC and Summer School.
CLEP OUT OF CLASSES. You can EASILY place out of your basic courses and save time as well as money, just by taking a simple exam for the class.
Get to know the professors in your major.
Learn meanings. Teach yourself, encourage yourself.
BUY BOOKS.
Everyone has a bachelors degree. Go for the Masters or the PhD.
Now, where there is studying, there is also socializing.
What type of person do you want to be?
In that sense, choose those PEOPLE to hang out with that represents that which you would LIKE to BECOME.
That which your friends plan out to do, you are bound to do the same for yourself, because you are physically hanging out with them.
Understand your environment and the place we are living in. Don’t lie, don’t kid yourself.
When you go to University, the average age of people around you is generally 18-23, male and female.
The reason you are going to University, is so that you will be able to make money, and insha’Allah get married, thus completing half of your faith.
That’s the LONG TERM goal.
Until you are married, Allah will be testing you.
You WILL be surrounded by trials from all sides, as I said, don’t kid yourself.
Think about getting married.
There will be talk spread about the doubt in people’s hearts about you.
There will be people asking about you.
If you truly believe you can make anyone and everyone like you, you are chasing an impossible dream. There will always be someone who has that doubt in their heart about you.
But don’t let that get in your way. You know the most important thing of all.
You know WHY you’re here.
You choose to do acts of good in the name of Allah.
You also choose to do acts of evil to fulfill your desires.
No one has had their needs fulfilled therein. One desire ends only in another.
Humans were created with the freedom of choice, as crazy as that sounds.
We are weak. We are dependent on things to survive. If we didn’t have a certain number of white blood cells constantly eliminating bad germs from our bodies, we would all die.
So yes, we fall into error. Yes, we sometimes give into our desires.
But don’t ever think, even for a second, that Allah (SWT) will not forgive you for the sins of your desires.
Keep your head high and your dreams higher. Insha’Allah we’ll all make it to Jannah.
Impossible is nothing.

On the Day of Judgment the first thing you will be held accountable for is Salat.
First Allah (SWT) looks at your Fard prayers.
Whatever is lacking in your Fard prayers, your nafl and sunnah prayers willl fill its place.
There is a place in dunya where you can reap a vast amount of reward in a short amount of time.
It’s basically like the CLEP Exam for reward.
Where is this place? Why haven’t I heard of this place?
The place is the Kabah, in Mecca.
Any action is multiplied ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND TIMES.
If you like numbers, that translates to 100,000.
Praying only ONE SALAT at the Kabah results in that reward or maybe even more, Allahu’Alam.
Isn’t that ridiculous? Ya, ridiculously GREAT.
If you have missed any prayers, make the intention to go for Umrah or Hajj.
All that is in the Heavens and the Earth glorifies Allah (SWT).
When the Imam says, “Pray as if it is your last prayer,”
Let Death Occupy Your Thoughts.
It is told of Al-Aswad, the Abyssinian, that when he prayed at night he used to turn to his left and to his right, and that he said, when asked what he was doing,
“I am looking to see from which direction the Angel of Death shall come to me.“
Fear That Day
Insha’Allah we all make it to Jannah.
